Peanuts is a comic strip with daily strips and Sunday boards created by Charles M. Schulz and published in the United States of America from October 2, 1950 to February 13, 2000 (the day after the author's death). The comic, published for a large part of its production in daily strips of four cartoons, was one of the most famous and influential in the world, being published for fifty years in over 2600 newspapers, translated into more than 20 languages ​​and published in over seventy countries reaching 355 million readers. The characters in the series were hugely successful commercially and also starred in a series of cartoons, two animated features, and a musical comedy in 1967; the series has been the subject of essay writing and interest from intellectuals.
